This comic presents four real life stories from the world of sport. The characters are not big stars but down to earth individuals who, despite failing to achieve their goals, were able to convey essential qualities for the personal and popular life of individuals. These pages contain commendable examples of self-improvement, effort, disinterested friendship, nobility, loyalty, humour and sportsmanship in defeat. All these virtues comprise some of the values sport should promote, much more important than a victory.
